CANTERBURY FINALS. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 20. Finals at the Canterbury tennis championships resulted as follows: — Men's singles: C. F. Penfold beat R. G. F. Pattinson, 4-6, 6-1, 7-5. Women’s singles: Miss S. Anderson beat Miss H. Elsom, 7-5, 2-6, 6-3. Men’s doubles: C. F. Penfold and R. G. Pattinson beat H. Dymond and A. R. Cant, 8-6, 6-4. Mixed doubles: Miss S. Anderson and R. G. Pattinson beat Mrs E. M. Peppier and A. R. Cant, 7-5, 6-2. Girls' doubles: Misses H. and D. Elsom beat Misses P. Cuddon and P. Gould. 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.
