SETTLERS FAREWELLED

* ENJOYABLE PARTY AT IHURAUA. (“Times-Age” Special.) The home of Mr and Mrs E. H. Dagg, “Ngatitipu,” Ihuraua, was the scene of a very jolly party recently when a number of friends were present to farewell Mr Dunn and Miss Hazel Dunn on the eve of their departure on a six months’ visit to England and Europe. During the evening, which was spent in music, competitions and billiards, Mr A. Weston ably expressed the good wishes of all present for a pleasant voyage for the guests. They were then accorded musical honours and three rousing cheers. Both Mr Dunn and Miss Dunn feelingly responded. After a dainty supper had been served the party terminated with cheers for the host and hostess.
