INCREASED BUILDING IN FRANCE .PRODUCTION AS RAPIDLY AS, •AS POSSIBLE IN VIEW OF INTERNATIONAL SITUATION LONDON. April 19. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Paris correspondent says that in view of the international situation, the Government has decided to build 2500 new warplanes as rapidly as possible, replacing the original programme of 1500. Many of the machines have already been ordered, but the Air Minister. M. Grig La Chambre, with the £20,000,000 supplementary credit recently passed, is able to increase the rate of production.

The Gnomerhone strikers have evacuated the works.
