MR J. A. NASH HONOURED. PRESENTATION BY MANAWATU CENTRE. By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N„ This Day. High tributes to Mr J. A. Nash, who has been a member of the Manawatu Bowling Centre for twenty-five years and president for twenty-four, were paid at the Silver Jubilee rinks tournament, when he was presented with a gold badge as the centre’s first life member, and also with a set of gold links and studs in appreciation of his services. The gathering included players from all parts of the centre district and also rinks from Auckland, Wellington and Taranaki. Mr H. P. Horne, Woodville, patron of the centre, in making the presentation said Mr Nash was not only a splendid organiser in the administration of the game, but an excellent player.
