RUMANIAN PLOT

ARMS FOUND IN SEARCH OF HOUSES COUNTRY UNDER MARTIAL LAW. ALL SUSPECTS TO BE TRIED BY COURT-MARTIAL. LONDON, April 18. The “Daily Telegraph's” Bucharest correspondent says that as the county is under martial law, those arrested will be court-martialled. Such trials must be held and sentences passed within forty-eight hours after arrest. Futher arrests are continuing, many in German-speaking districts. An official communique states that several houses were searched and illegal arms discovered, after which a general search of the houses of Iron Guard leaders was ordered. The result fully confirmed the information received concerning the movements planned. The communique adds that the movement is not beyond the stage of professional agitation and will not affect the masses in town and country.
