LIVE SIMPLY
IF YOU DESIRE NATURAL . COMPLEXION. The only way to obtain a good natural complexion of the lasting order is to live simply, and obey the laws of hygiene. To build up a clear, healthy skin, the body must be kept clean, both inside and out. Pimply and- blotchy skins are more often than not a direct effect from stomach disorders. For cleansing the system one woman noted for her physical fitness and beauty pins her faith to three doses of bran a day. She takes a teaspoonful before each meal, washing it down with a glass of water. Pills and medicine of any kind are never necessary, according to her experience. As a rule, the victims of sallow complexions, liver spots and blackheads are not fond of vegetables and fruit, and they drink very little water. To keep the kidneys properly flushed, about three pints of water should be taken into the system every day. A glas of hot water taken one hour before meals will do much to rid the stomach of mucus and put it in a good condition for the digestion of the food. That is the evidence given by a medical woman, who has made a special study of personal hygiene and physical culture in relation to women.
