SENATE APPROVAL
PROGRAMME COMMENDED BY MOST LEADERS OPPOSITION IN SOME QUARTERS. MR BORAH'S CRITICISM. NEW YORK, April 15. The Washington correspondent of the “New York Times” says most of the House Senate leaders joined in commending president Roosevelt s programme, although two foremost opponents of the Reorganisation Bill attacked the measure as wasteful. Senator Borah endorsed the relief portion of the programme, but criticised the spending portion.
