CHARGE AGAINST SPENSLEY. ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL By Telegraph. —Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 14. In the case in which Francis Borgia Spensley is charged with the murder of his father, Robert Fitzroy Spensley, evidence for the prosecution concluded at noon. Accused, through his solicitor, pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., as coroner, concluded the coronial aspect of the hearing by finding that Robert Fitzroy Spensley met his death from gunshot wounds which were not self-inflicted.
