WELLINGTON SALE PRICES. Sheepskins showed little change, but prices of hides were irregular at the sale held on Thursday by the Wellington brokers. Sheepskins; A fairly keen demand was met and last sale's values were maintained, with the exception of pelts, which were approximately Id per lb. lower. Hides: Heavy grades remained firm. Medium and light weights were Jd to id lower, with kip about Jd lower. Yearling and calf were in demand and recorded an improvement of l-8d to jd per lb. Tallow; Prices were unchanged. The range of prices is as follows: — Dry sheepskins: Halfbred, 5Jd to 8!d; fine crossbred, 61d to 9d; medium crossbred, 6d to Bld; coarse crossbred. 6ld to 8d; half-wools, s:jd to BJd; quarter-wools, 3Jd to 71d; pells, 2;]d to 41 d. Salted skins: Half-wools, 3s 7d; three-quarter-wools, 4s 3d.
