INSURGENT DRIVE TO COAST IN SPAIN Some Successes Claimed by Loyalists MORE CONSCRIPT CLASSES CALLED FOR SERVICE : BARCELONA. April 13. The Government claims to have driven back the insurgents north and south of Lerida over the River Segre, and to have brought down four insurgent bombers. Cabinet has placed all sources of electrical power under its control. The Prime Minister, Senor Negrin, has decided to call up foi' immediate military service, three more classes of conscripts, including lads of seventeen. A Saragossa message says the insurgents are confident of reaching the Mediterranean by Easter. NEARING THE COAST ANOTHER ADVANCE BY REBELS (Recd This Day, 9.45 a.m.) SARAGOSSA, April 13. The Nationalists, advancing on a twenty-mile front, have captured Chert, 14 miles from the Mediterranean.
