Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m to-day:— Barograph, 30.22. Shade temperature: Maximum G 7.9, minimum 54.8, terrestrial 53.7; sunshine,’ nil; rain, 141 points. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 10 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday, and 133 points during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. Indications are for northerly moderate to strong winds, to gale" force in places, after about 24 hours, varying by west to south. Weather, cloudy to overcast, with rain probable. Some heavy falls. Conditions warm. The barometer has a falling tendency.
