Often, mentioned in mystery stories bnt seldom seen in real life, a rare type cf prismatic glass which looks like a mirror on one side, but which is transparent when looked at from the opposite side, was requested by Associate Producer Samuel G. Engel ' .for "Lancer Spy," Twentieth Century- ■ Fox film corning soon to the State l Theatre, and the prop men were non- , plussed. The glass is an important i property in the thrilling story of war- i time espionage, for George Sanders , uses it to observe, undetected, every i mannerism and characteristic of the : captured officer he is to impersonate. Prop men copied the design, and a large sheet was prepared for Sand- ’ ers’ big scene. Dolores Del Rio and ! Peter Lorre are co-feaiured with San- | tiers.
