PURSUANT to Section 13 of the T Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a Poll of Ratepayers of the County of Castlepoint, taken on the 4th day of April, 1938, on the proposal of the Castlepoint County Council to borrow the sum of £2500 for the purpose of contributing towards the cost of erecting a bridge over the Whakataki River, realigning the road and acquiring the land necessary for such purposes — The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 31 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was nil I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
