MASTERTON MAYORALTY
COUNCILLOR RIPPON LIKELY TO STAND An announcement made by Councillor A. Rippon at last night’s meeting of the Borough Council, that in all probability he would be Contesting the mayoralty at the coming election. Councill Rippon has previously unsuccessfully contested the mayoralty on two previous occasions.
The mayor, Mr T. Jordan, has agreed to seek re-election.
