A weighing crate for pigs is useful on the dairy farm. Here are the dimensions of a suitable crate for pigs up to 2001 b. The inside measurements of the crate should be approximately 3ft lOin long, 2ft Gin high, and 2ft wide. The bottom of the crate should be stoutly constructed of Jin boarding on two runners of 2in x 21 in. The sides should be framed up with 2in x lin timber, and on this should be the sideslats, which shoudl be Jin x 2in. It is important that the slats should be on the inside of the framing, and the same thing applies to the top.
