PAHIATUA-BUSH BRANCH. (“Times-Age’ Special.) On Saturday morning a meeting of the Pahiatua-Bush branch of the N.Z.E.I. was held at the Pahiatua District High School building, representatives being present from the Pahiatua, Eketahuna, Mangatainoka, Scarborough, Ruawhata Newman and Rongokokako Schools. The president (Miss C. M. Wilson) extended a welcome to Miss W. O’Donroborated the evidence of the previous the branch.
The chief business of the meeting was the discussion of remits to be considered at the annual meeting of the N.Z.E.I. in Wellington in May. Mr W. J. Henderson (secretary) led the discussion on the remits for the guidance of the branchs delegate, Miss C. Wilson, at the annual meeting.
