Ottawa, Canada —The upward trend in radio sales in Canada which has been in progress since 1933 was extended further into 1937. The number sold during 1937 was 265,855 with a factory selling value of 22,.629,506 dollars, compared with 247,920 sets at 22,175,833 dollars in 1936 and 130.493 sets at 10,768.000 dollars in 1933. The popularity of automobile radios has resulted in an increase in sales to 22,991 sets valued at 1.275,208 dollars compared with 18,739 at 1,006,140 dollars in 1936 and 16,371 at 937,331 dollars in 1935.
