STATE THEATRE.
“KING SOLOMON’S MINES.” There was a crowded house at the State Theatre last night to witness the screening of “King Solomon’s Mines,” in which Paul Robeson, Roland Young, Anna Lee, Cedric Hardwicke are included in an exceptionally strong cast. It is a thrilling drama set in the vastness and mystery of the African deserts. It is a picture which should not be missed as it is packed with thrills and the acting it superb all through. The supporting programme is of a high standard, and includes the “March of Time.” Reserves at Adcock’s, ’phone 1275.
There will be a special review screening of Bobby Breen in “Make a Wish,” commencing at 10.15 o’clock on Thursday night.
