FAREWELL GATHERING
PRESENTATION TO AIRS H. JONES
A pleasant afternoon was spent at the residence of Mrs C. Braggins, Cornwall Street, on Friday when the ladies’ committee of the Central School Parents’ Association met to bid farewell to Mrs Henry Jones, one of the committee who is leaving Masterton. After afternoon tea had been served Mrs Beecroft (convenor) on behalf of those present presented the guest of the afternoon with a small memento of the happy times spent and wished her every happiness in her new sphere. Mrs Jones suitably acknowledged the gift and the good wishes.
