ACCIDENT TO FACTORY WORKER ARM TORN OFF By Telegraph—Press Association. GISBORNE, April 9. An employee at the Ngatiporou Dairy Factory, Ruatoria, Mr Dina Beach, lost his left arm this morning. While operating a saw-bench at the factory, Mr Beach went to adjust a defective belt and was found a few minutes later suffering from ghastly injuries received through being caught in the belt and dragged into the puller. The arm was torn off at the shoulder. The injured man retained consciousness while first aid was applied and he was later taken to the Te Puia Hospital.
