The board comprises Mr Lusty (assistant chief engineer, Wellington), chairman, Mr Clarke (district traffic manager, Dunedin), Mr Binstead (locomotive engineer, Christchurch), Mr Ramsey (guard, Dunedin). The hearing of evidence from about a dozen witnesses, is expected to occupy two days. The result will be announced by the general manager or the Minister for Railways.
