DROWNING ACCIDENT

MAN WASHED OFF ROCKS. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 10. The Public Works Department has received a radio message from Raoul Island in the Kermadecs, stating that one of the members of the Sunday Island party, Mr J. Kilmister, a single man whose relatives live at Allington Street, Karori, was washed off’ a rock while fishing and was drowned. He was wearing heavy boots and the body so far had not been recovered.
