Doping of athletes is nothing unusual, in some parts of the world, but apparently the practice has been rife in Victorian athletic circles lately. At a meeting of the Victorian Athletic Association (a professional body) recently, it was stated by a member that he was waiting for a medical report which, he claimed, would show that hundreds of “dope” prescriptions had been prepared for runners and cyclists.
