REJECTION OF GERMAN DEMANDS OBJECTION TO BRITISH NATURALISATION TENSION IN ASSEMBLY DEBATE By Telegraph.—Press Association, Copyright. (Recd This Day 10 a.m.) CAPE TOWN, April 8. The South-West Africa Assembly rejected a German motion acknowledging German as the official language and the institution of a Mandate citizenship open to European immigrants, instead of their being forced to take out British naturalisation. The debate was made significant by the defiant attitude of the German leaders.
