LABOUR WINS ANOTHER SEAT. END OF EXCITING CONTEST. BRISBANE, April 8. The completion of the counting' of votes in the last doubtful seat gave the Government a striking victory in the former Country Party stronghold, Dalby, held since 1909 by Mr Godfrey Morgan, Minister of Railways in the Moore Government. The contest for this seat was most exciting, Mr Slessar winning by 43 votes. The parties are now: Labour, 44; Opposition, 18, including one Protestant Labour.
