4 GOLF ON THE CONTINENT. Golf is spreading like wildfire on the Continent. The recent formation of the European Golf Association may result in a European championship, with players of a dozen nations taking part. Present members of the association are Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, England, France, Germany, Holland. Hungary, Italy, Luxenburg, and Switzerland. New courses are springing up all over Europe. Three hundred members joined Luxemburg’s first golf club, and the professionals sold 250 sets of cluos in 12 months.
