CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON. Mr. K. W. R. Tamatea, of Hastwells, has just returned from Wellington where he attended a conference of the Otaki and Wairarapa Trust boards held to consider the question of pooling the Trust Board funds for the purpose of erecting a school at Carterton in place of the one recently destroyed by fire, or at Otaki. The decision arrived at by the conference will be announced at a later date.
