SEVEN THOUSAND JAPANESE KILLED VAST QUANTITIES OF MATERIAL CAPTURED (Reed This Day, 9.35 a.m.) HANKOV7, April 7. Staging a violent counter-attack on the Tientsin-Pukow Railway, the Chinese claim that they killed 7000, forced the Japanese to retire in great disorder and captured vast quantities of war material.
