RECOMMENDED TO SENATE COMMITTEE ENLARGEMENT OF AIRCRAFT CARRIERS By Telegraph.—Press Association, Copyright. (Recd This Day, 12.40 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 6. Adimral Leahy asked the Senate Naval Affairs Committee to revise the Naval Expansion Bill and authorise two of the 20,000 tons aircraft carriers instead of two 15,000 ton vessels. The recommendation follows the policy of building a United States war fleet second to none afloat.
