A LUCKY ESCAPE

BIG BOULDER STRIKES CAR IN GORGE. ONLY SLIGHT DAMAGE DONE. PALMERSTON N., This Day. Mr and Mrs J. W. Jones, of Palmerston North, had an exceeding lucky escape in the Manawatu Gorge last night, when a boulder hurtled down the hillside on to the radiator of their car. The rock was so large that two men were required to lift it. Onlj’ the outside grille of the radiator fan was damaged.
