SENSATIONAL NEW CAR

* ATTACK’PROPOSED ON SPEED RECORD. RUGBY, April 5. A sensation has been caused by the revolutionary design of a new highspeed car in which Mr John Cobb, the famous British racing motorist, will attempt to break Captain G. E. T. Eyston’s world land speed record of 312 miles an hour at Utah, in August. The car has two supercharged engines developing together about 3000 horsepower. The drive of the engine is to all four wheels. A streamlined body encloses the entire car. A speed of 350 miles an hour is hoped for.
