BADMINTON

MASTERTON METHODIST CLUB ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Masterton Methodist Badminton Club was held in the schoolroom on Tuesday evening last. Mr C. R. Goudge presided over an excellent attendance of members.

The annual report reviewed a highly successful season, and the financial statement revealed a satisfactory credit balance.

The following officers were elected for the 1938 season:—Club captain, Mr C. A. Greenwood; deputy captain, Mr A. Handyside; Secretary, Mr D. A. Barns; general committee, Mr A. Sanson, Misses L. Cocker and C. Donald; social committee, Misses D. O’Donnell, P. Hessell, P. Sanson; hall committee, Messrs K. Brader and E. Robinson; hon auditor, Mr E. R. Rogers. It was decided to officially open the season on Tuesday evening, April 26, although the court is now available to members.
