FALL DOWN BANK
CYCLIST FATALLY INJURED DUNEDIN, April 6. Injuries which subsequently proved fatal were received by a married man named John Young, aged 24, living at Ocean View, near Brighton, when a bicycle he was riding apparently left the main Brighton Road near Big Rock corner and caused him to fall down a bank about 10 feet in height. The accident was not seen by anyone and the first intimation of the tragedy came when three women, who were walking along the pathway toward the corner at about 6.45 p.m. found the injured man lying beside his bicycle on the grassy path which was about 10 feet below the main road. He was alive when first discovered, but died shortly afterward.
