BASKETBALL
STAR CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Star Basketball Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms last evening, there being a good attendance of old and new members.
The election of officers resulted as follows:— Club captain, Miss M. Gadsby; vice-captain, Miss A. Burgess; secretary and treasurer, Miss K. Mouat.
The meeting was followed by a practice in the gymnasium. Practices are to be every Tuesday evening from 5.45 o’clock till 6.45 o’clock.
The prospects for the season are very encouraging.
