METALLING CONTRACTS. rpENDERS, addressed to the Chairman, wil be received at the office of the undersigned, where specifications may be seen until NOON on FRIDAY, the Bth day of April, 1938, for the following work: — Contract No. 170. —Supplying and delivering 1300 cubic yard: (more or less) of river gravel from the Kaiwhata River on to Duffy’s and Ngahape Roads. Contract No. 172.—Quarrying, breaking and carting 314 cubic yards (more or less) of limestone for Lett’s Road. Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. The County Overseer will meet intending Contractors at the County Office, Chapel Street, Masterton, at 1 p.m. on TUESDAY, the sth day of April, 1938, to show them over the work.
