COSY THEATRE

DOUBLE STAR PROGRAMME. The popular comedian, Sandy Powell, known to thousands of radio listeners by his gramophone records, appears in his first picture “Can You Hear Me Mother?” to be shown at the Cosy Theatre finally to-night.at 8. The film, which is one of two to be screened at the Cosy is said to be hilariously funny. The second feature is “Hold ’em Navy” a comedy romance in which Lew Ayres, Mary Carlisle and John Howard are featured. The scene is set in a famous naval academy and there is a strong supporting cast.
