DR. MARSDEN TO VISIT MASTERTON.

Proposals by the Masterton Borough Council to augment the town water supply by means of artesian wells, will be advanced a further stage towards the end of this month when Dr E. Marsden, of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, will visit Masterton. A test bore has already been sunk and the next procedure will be to determine the characteristics of the underlying ground. Further boring will not be necessary.
