SOCIAL GATHERING
MASTERTON ATHLETIC CLUB.
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES.
The Masterton Amateur Athletic Club celebrated the conclusion of a most successful season with an enjoyable social gathering held last night. There was a large attendance of members and Mr. R. Bassett occupied the chair. The Saunders Cup for most points in flat and field events was presented to F. Kirwan, who also secured the Hausman trophy for flat events. The club trophy for field events was presented to J. Watts. Various speakers refered to the success of the past season and to the fine spirit of good fellowship existing among members.
