ROAD COOPERATION
INTERESTING EXPERIMENT IN BRITAIN. GUIDANCE FOR MOTORISTS AT FAULT. RUGBY, April 2. An interesting experiment was launched yesterday, under which 800 trained .mobile police officers are engaged in an effort to deal with breaches of the highways code, not by way of police courts, but by giving advice and, warning, and, where warranted, by police admonition. Officers report that motorists, when pulled up yesterday and told their mistakes and faults, showed no resentment.
The experiment aims at the closest co-operation between road-users and the police for the public safety.
