COALITION GETS BIG MAJORITY.
FATALITIES IN RIOTING
CAIRO, April 3. The families of opposing election candidates at Minia clashed and exchanged shots, resulting in six deaths. Rioting led to three deaths elsewhere in Lower Egypt. The election is completed except in eighteen seats, where another election is essential, owing to technicalities. The Government coalition has an overwhelming majority consisting of: Government 96 Saadists 79 The Opposition and Independents number 599 and the Wafdists 12. Those defeated include Nahas Pasha, formerly Premier, and Ebeid Pasha, former Minister of Finance. Both have refused senatorships.
