Mrs. J. Elliott and Miss Rita Elliott, Columba Road, Masterton, are visiting Wellington.
Mrs. and Miss Hewitt, Hastings, have been staying with Mrs. J. K. Logan, Masterton. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Robertson, Dunedin, who are leaving shortly on a trip to England, are the guests of their daughter, Mrs. J. W. Dove, College Street, Masterton. Mrs I. E. Cameron is the guest of Mrs J. J. Kennedy, Opaki Road, Masterton.
Miss Phoebe Graham, of Waverley, who has been the guest of Mrs J. A. Betts for some time, has left for Auckland, where she will commence Karitane training. Miss Broadbent is staying with Mrs McKay, Renall Street. Mrs Glendinning, Wairoa, is staying with Mrs S. M. Baird, Cole Street, Masterton.
Mrs Reid, Longbush, has been the guest at many bridge parties prior to her departure for England. She is now the guest of Mrs Pain, Martinborough.
Mrs K. Guy is the guest of Mr N. M. Irwin, Pownall Street. Miss Ailsa Betham is visiting Nelson. Miss Kebbell whose marriage to Mr H. H. Pavitt will take place on Monday, has been the guest at many teas during the past week. Mr and Mrs A. Eddy, of Tararua Street, Masterton, and Miss Ola Eddy, left this morning by motor car on a motor tour of the North Island.
At the annual meeting of St. Luke’s Ladies’ Guild Mrs A. York was elected president, and Mrs E. Graham secretary.
Mrs. C. Deans, of Taueru, is on a visit to Taupo. Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Chalmers, Lett Street, have returned from a visit to Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs. B. R. Bunny and Miss Betty Bunny, Cole Street, are visiting the South Island.
Mr. and Mrs. H. I. Cameron, Hinakura, are staying at Paraparaumu Beach.
Mrs. Delamore, Whangarei, is the guest of Miss Butement, Essex Street. Mrs. Cole, who has been staying with Mrs. D. McGregor, has returned to Pahiatua.
Mrs. Gorringe, Mangaweka, is staying with her mother, Mrs. W. A. Todd, Lansdowne.
Mrs. C. Bellis, Tinui, has returned from a visit to Bulls.
Miss Shelton and Miss Wiggins, Cole Street, are spending the weekend in Wellington. Miss Barbara Barton, Lansdowne, is visiting Christchurch. Mrs. W. Blackwell, of Miramar, is on a visit to Masterton.
Mrs. Seeter, of Timaru, is the guest of Mrs. G. E. Allen, Taratahi.
