WOOL MARKET
BRADFORD VALUES. VERY QUIET. . LONDON, March 31. The Bradford tops market is very quiet. To-day’s quotations compare with those previously cabled as follows: —
FINAL NAPIER SALE.
FAIR PRICES EXPECTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. HASTINGS, April 1. Indications are that the final wool sale of the season to be held at Napier to-morrow night will be most successful. Sellers are confident that fair prices will be received for the 22,720 bales to be offered, though, for the most part, the wool is stated to be of only fair quality. There is a small offering of fine wool not disposed of at the last sale and this should go well. The remainder is of the usual standard always put forward at the end of the season. The biggest offering for the sale is from the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Cooperative Association Ltd., who have 5323 bales.
