N.S.W. PARTIES « FINAL ELECTION FIGURE RIVAL LABOUR FACTIONS. TWO LEADERS ELECTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn., Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The counting of votes in the State elections is virtually completed. Mr Hankinson retained the Murrumbidgee seat. Parliament will meet on April 12 and the state of parties will be as follows: — United Australia Party 37 United Country Party .... 22 Australian Labour Party 28 Industrial Labour Party 2 Independent 1 As a result of a meeting of the Labour Party opponents of Mr J. T. Lang, it is likely that for the first time there will be rival labour leaders in the New South Wales Parliament. The meeting decided that Mr Heffron should be regarded as Leader of the Industrial Party and that their policy would be announced in the new Parliament through him. It is considered certain that Mr Lang will be re-elect-ed Leader of the Parliamentary Labour Party.
