SECONDARY SCHOOL GAME WAIRARAPA v. HUTT WIN FOR LOCAL TEAM On a splendid wicket and in fine weather yesterday, the Wairarapa College eleven defeated the Hutt Valley High School team on the college ground by an innings and 27 runs. Tooley, a promising young bat, who has shown good form in the Wairarapa competitions this season, was top scorer for Wairarapa with 37 not out, which included a 6 and three 4’s. Thomson (four boundaries), Upston (two boundaries), Hobbs (three boundaries) and Andrew (one boundary) also displayed good form with the bat for the college, while Hendry and Taylor also made valuable contribution's to the score.
