ATTITUDE OF AUSTRALIAN AUTHORITIES. (Received This Day, 11.20 a.rh.) Sydney, This Day. Opinion in Sydney Rugby Union circles favours the retention of the amended rules. Mr Noseda, secretary of the New South Wales Rugby Union said: “There has been no suggestion here to adopt the International rules, but if New Zealand asked for their adoption in their matches in Australia the Union would have to consider the matter.”
