Sir-Hercules-by Whalebone, out of Peri, by Wanderer. The-Colonel (who ran adead heat for the Derby, and won the St. Leger) by Whisker, dam by Delphini, out of Tipple Cider by King Fergus; vide Stud Book. Fergus won the first-class prizes at the Oamaru Pastoral and Agricultural Shows of 1863 and 1864, and in 1866-at Waikouaiti. Fergus will travel as follows: — The Lower Hutt, every second Monday Upper Hutt, on Tuesday; Dodder's, on Wednesday ; Featherston, on Thursday; Grey town, on Friday; Masterton, on Saturday-and Monday, and-will then return "to' Greytown, on Tuesday; Featherston, on Wednesday; Hodder’s, on Thursday; Upper Hutt, on Friday; Lower Hutt, on Saturday and Monday. ■Terms;—£s’ss each mare, to be,paid on or before Ist February, 1868.
