FINANCIAL REFORM.

At a large meeting, recently held in Nelson, a resolution was unanimously adopted in favor of the establishment of a Financial Reform League, for the purpose of watching the Colonial taxation and expenditure, and protecting the interests of the people. It was also resolved that a Committee should be appointed, with instructions to communicate with other Provinces, with the view of forming branches of such league throughout the colony. We trust that the league will be organised, and that it will be as successful as the promoters desire. Both the Nelson journals give their hearty support to the movement, and both can lay claim to being its joint parents. It is very probable that branches of the League will he established in this Province, towards which object we will render all the aid in our pow’er.
