COMMITTEE of the Masterton Literary Institute, hereby give notice that they have arranged, for the following course of subjects iu furtherance of the objects of the Institute: — Ist. Penny Readings from Selected Authors every Monday evening at 7 o’clock. 2nd. Instruction in the Maori Language, every Tuesday evening at 7 o’clock. 3rd. English Reading and Arithmetic in its several branches, every Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock.] 4th. Readings in English History, every Friday evening at' 7 o’clock. The TERMS OF ADMISSION will be as follows:—■ To the Readings ONE PENNY each person. TO ALL THE CLASSES— Members, free; Non-members, ss. per quarter. Applications for admission to the several classes may be made to the Secretary, and as soon as a sufficient number of applicants are enrolled, the classes will be at once commenced.
