IVTOTICE is hereby given that application has been made to His Honor the Superintendent to alter the boundaries of the Carterton School District in accordance with the following description, viz., to commence at the junction of the Mungaturera Stream with the Waiohine river, thence up the Mungatauera stream until it meets a line being a continuation of the southern boundary of the sections 173, Ido, 171, 88, and 1, Taratahi Plain Block, thence along the said line io the south-eastern corner of section No 1., Taratahi Plain Block, thence on a magnetic bearing of 213 ° 31’ until it strikes the Waiohine River, thence along the Waiohine River to the starting point. And notice is hereby further given in compliance with the provisions of the “ Education Act Amendment Act, 1807,” that at the expiration of six months from this date the Carterton School District will be altered accordingly, unless in the meantime sufficient cause be shown to the contrary.
