FARMING OPERATIONS FOR JUNE.
Wheat sow in dry weather ; to prevent smut one pound of blue stone to seven gallons of water will form an excellent preventive ; steep 8 to 10 hours and dry with lime or wood ashes. Beans sow; look well to cattle, particularly milch cows, give shelter and dry food. Cut and slash hedges when required.
